Motorola Officially Confirms Gingerbread for CLIQ 2, 1,000 Users Wanted for Soak Test

Motorola CLIQ 2

Motorola CLIQ 2 released in the United States in March. This phone is not available on T-Mobile USA again, but the big retailers may still have some in stock, though we doubt it.

Anyway, after an official Gingerbread ROM for the Motorola CLIQ 2 years ago leaked in August, we think it will not take long for Motorola to push updates to all devices. Unfortunately, this does not happen and the Motorola CLIQ 2 owners are still waiting for Gingerbread update.

Today, Motorola CLIQ 2 official forum recently updated with new information on the Gingerbread update. The good news is that it is soon to come, the bad news is that the CLIQ 2 owners still have to wait a little longer.

Looks like Motorola is now recruiting 1,000 customers who are willing to test and provide feedback on Gingerbread software update for Motorola CLIQ 2.

"We recruited 1000 customers to test and provide feedback on Gingerbread software upgrades for the Motorola CLIQ 2, before it was officially released to all customers."

According to Motorola, it is possible to get updates more quickly, but only if approved by the company as part of the trial Motorola Feedback Network.

"If you want to get the software more quickly, there will be a private trial as part of Motorola Feedback Network. We also recommend you fill out the information in our new system when we are in the process of migration is complete."

We do not know how long it takes to collect the 1,000 people who still use the Motorola CLIQ 2 and are willing to test and provide feedback. Hopefully, companies will be able to successfully complete the required tests in the weeks after, and finally let go of Gingerbread for CLIQ 2.
