Fans should be pleased to know that Gerard Butler has completed treatment at the Betty Ford clinic and feel better than ever. Proof of that is the fact that he attended the 2012 post-Oscar Vanity Fair party.
As we also reported on Friday, just hours before he walked out of the center, online news came that he was a patient there for 3 weeks.
Online speculation claiming the star has been admitted to a painkiller addiction, which he has been changed to treat injuries sustained during training for the physically challenged "300," but also to cocaine.
His rep would only confirm that he was receiving treatment at Betty Ford, and it ends Friday.
So, on Sunday, Gerard is a post-Oscar Vanity Fair party, such as the Daily Mail can confirm.
The actor seems to have skipped the actual awards show - or, at least, the red carpet before the ceremony - attended the incident and only after the party.
Either way, he saw himself usual style: well-dressed, handsome and, most importantly, healthy.
"The actor is back in the spotlight and on the party circuit just a few days after being released from the Betty Ford Center after only three weeks," wrote the British tabs.
"Butler, 42, looked tanned, healthy and fit while walking the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood [Sunday] night," added the Mail.
"Looking dapper in a sharp tuxedo, 300 stars appear to have re-gained a bit of weight she lost last year when he battled addiction to painkillers," says the same publication.
Before the VF party, Butler saw out and about, go for jogging and grab a bite to eat in town - the paparazzi documenting every step, as imagined they would.
