Intel Medfield Reference Tablet Spotted

Intel Medfield reference tablet design Enlarge pictureWe talked about the Intel-powered tablet Medified enough references here on Softpedia News, but now we finally have some pictures accompanying these reports.

Tablet is a look into the wild by a crew from SlashGear, a snagged some images the device with Epic Touch 4G Galaxy S II was going to have on hand.

Unfortunately, little is known about this tablet powered Medfield, but from the picture provided looks like the screen size of about 10-inches in size, and sources say that it is running Android 3.x Honeycomb with dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Medfield mobile processors.

This combo should be able to provide some pretty good performance if we believe Intel's own benchmarks, largely thanks to the inclusion of some special hardware logic found in Medfield is intended to speed up the Android OS.

More information should be available at CES 2012, but until then make sure to check out pictures of tablets included in the gallery below.
